He earned an MBA in finance from the University of Memphis and an undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. Active in the community, Rochester is a board member and past president and treasurer for the Brevard Zoo East Coast Zoological Society. He is a board member and past-president and treasurer for Junior Achievement, East Central Florida.
